"Just Dance!" is a dance performance inspired by the famous words attributed to anarchist and feminist Emma Goldman: "If I can’t dance to it, it’s not my revolution." This performance features the "Dance Light Harness," an interactive wearable artefact that uses electronic textiles and sensor technology to perceive and respond to movement. As the dancer swings and moves in a dark space, the harness generates vibrant light patterns, symbolising joy and resistance in the face of oppression. Dancing becomes a statement: to resist, exist, and shine.
